It is the only part of a Venetian villa ever completed by Andrea Palladio in Meledo of Sarego, dating from around 1567. The work stopped in 1562 because of the death of the patron Ludovico Trissino and only the barns remain visible. The complex was added in 1996 in the list of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
